Yakin Football League YFL and Lawas FA are building an important platform in strengthening the development of football for both sides, especially in Borneo. The relationship is strengthened through a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU to build a closer relationship and benefit both parties.

The MoU was signed by Pengiran Zamri bin Pengiran Haji Bujang, Chairman of YFL and Awang Madun Nasip, President of Lawas FA as well as Awang Haji Abdul Kadir Haji Bayan, Vice President of Lawas FC. Through this collaboration, Lawas FA and YFL plan to organize football tournaments, thus providing more competitive tournaments opportunities. The MoU also opens up space for an exchange programme for potential players that can help improve the skills, experience and talent of the players to a higher level. At the event, 4 underprivileged families received donations from YFL. The event was held at a hotel in Lawas.
